A better economics is possible, with Larry Elliot, Economics Editor at The Guardian

Larry Elliott, Economics Editor of the Guardian, will talk about the 33 Theses for an Economic Reformation that were “nailed” to the door of the London School of Economics in December last year.  These argued that mainstream economics is doing much less than it could to provide insights that would help solve the problems of poverty, inequality, the ecological crisis and financial instability.  In particular he will give us his insights into the issue of inequality, what might be done to make the UK a more equal country and what are the realistic prospects of achieving such a reduction.
